The El Segundo Police Department has cancelled all Police Department community outreach events until further notice. The action is taken as a precaution to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The City of El Segundo continues to cooperate with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the Centers for Disease Control and the El Segundo Unified School District to respond to the spread of the novel coronavirus in Los Angeles County. El Segundo Police Department Traffic Officers are committed to promoting safe and efficient traffic flow throughout our City. Traffic Officers go through many hours of training to help keep our streets and drivers safe; including traffic collision investigations - non-injury, injury, and fatality accidents.

Officers participate in a variety of community events, including the Annual Holiday Parade, PTA Fun Run, Coffee-With-A Cop; and a variety of special enforcement details throughout the City.
